make my 3.2 faster
The only problem with the an Open Source Tune, sometimes is you can lock out your ECU, and if in the chance that you do actually need to retune your ECU, you cannot get to it, thus driving around and killing it.
If you were serious about actually making your TL fast, i would get CAI, Full Exhaust ( headers back), Underdrive pulleys, new spark plugs, new injectors, fuel pump, new throttle body or if your daring ITB's.
for a n/a build, it would be fast, but tuning would be a bitch.
Good luck though... and remember, you'll see barely 10whp from I/H/E

. . . in addition to the mods already mentioned, you might look in to having the throttle body (TB) bored out . . . I think the base TL has just one TB.
If you do that, you do need to open up the total intake system to get the maximum benefit.
1) CAI - Comptech Icebox makes the least noise and more power than most.
2) Enlarge all components to match the new throttle body spec. And that means matching the intake opening as well. You want a consistent size from start to finish.
3) TB Spacer.
These mods will do more for you than just headers . . . my personal experience, so you have to trust me . . . this engine loves more air.
When you do headers, have them ceramic coated, or just by the DC ones that can be ordered that way. This does 2 things.
1) Help keep the engine bay cooler.
2) Accelerates the exhaust gases, so it's sort of like having a bigger exhaust.
