Arrow Low Beam Replacement Bulb - HELP!

Hey guys,
I'm helping my dad find what
main light bulb we will need?

I used this site > http://www.blindinghid.com/
and I checked it out..

I have a 2002 Acura 3.2 TL
Do I need:

- Xenon HID D2S Bulbs

What is the difference between:
Single Beam Xenon HID D2S Bulbs - $39.99 <- THIS

Single Beam Special Color Xenon HID D2S Bulbs - $49.99 <- and THIS!

I know nothing about this..
I gotta keep studying about it..

Is the bulb size D2R?

and What Colour do you prefer on a Black Acura TL?

3000k | 4300k | 6000k | 8000k | 10,000k | 12,000k

Please leave a comment!
Do I need anything else?
What do you think of the site I'm using?

Does anyone here live in Toronto and know where to buy bulbs for the Acura TL?
Thanks!

- Kazai

you need d2r bulbs and 5000k is the best in my opinion. i used to run 6000k but believe me you can't see anything in rain. i bought mine from ebay for $15.99 and lifetime warranty. also you can't buy these bulbs from any car part store except the dealer and those will run over 100 dollars.

4300 is stock and provides the most usable light. Always replace HIDs in pairs.

Fatty himself posted the DIY for the low beam. It's on the list somewhere. It's pretty easy if you have smaller hands.

I went for 6k. I wanted a noticeable blue, but 8k is way too blue. Depending on state law, you could get pulled over.

5000k is your best bet as it has blue hint to it when looking from a distance

1st question is WHY Blue? Blue doesnt let you see better and it really isnt cool :2cents;

2nd, the DIY is in the DIY thread on the main 2g page.

doesnt matter what they look like- especially new, as they need 50 hours use to get full brightness and color stablized - drive with them on all the time to get those hours in!!

its what they put on the road so you can tell objects apart!
4300 stock, cant argue its a good color to see with
5000K is what to run if you want `better at picking out road markings and signs`
6000 if you only drive when it doesnt rain and where its not pitch black no road lighting

thats from many who had 6 and now 5000

before you do anything, do you get moisture inside the headlight lens?
if so you need to reseal those, and may as well do an entire hid kit now
the ballast and related parts get wet and eventually die

many of us have this happening recently,,scroll down thread list for more info
ck out hidextra.com and hidconcepts.com for unreal deals on `package` for both sides ~well under~ 100 dollars
get the relay kit to avoid problems, extra $15

take the plastic nose off the car, its just push in clips holding lower engine covers to the bumper cover and a couple of screws on the end (some of the plastic pins will not go back- need new) remove bar that holds lights, remove entire housings
Work in comfort standing at the bench as you swap out parts
