K&N Filter

I recently bought one regardless, but i was wondering if anyone could actually "feel" the different when you dropped that thing up in ther.

no. got my dad to buy one for our old 01 Toyota Sienna back in the day. waste of money.

K thanks, i was just wondering because i saw on this forum that many put it after removing intake resonator.

yeah i feel like most people do it just for peace of mind, and also so they don't ever have to buy a new filter. i have yet to see any real gains from using just a K&N drop in.

Yea the only way you'd honestly get any real gains is if you did the whole i/h/e mods. Otherwise its pretty much pointless.

I disagree

K&N by itself does make a differance, and with the resonator removal, its
able to access the amount of air it can process!

not only do you get the lifetime useage and only needs cleaning,
it has superior filtering to most paper filters

someones experience with another vehicle isnt relative to the TL and its systems

you own a K&N,,, it belongs in the car,,, with the res box removal !!

no, its not the same as attaching a rocket booster,,
but you have a 200hp sewing machine,,what do you expect !?!

lol, thanks for all the feedback, and yea filter should be dropped in today and i have removed my res for a while now. thanks again

negative on the power but I like the fact that I dont have to put an air filter in the landfill every year or so. I have had my K&N for nearly 100,000 miles - good to go. I got one for our new Tahoe for the same reason
