HID question!

I have a 99 acura TL. One of my low beam bulbs died so i ordered d2r 10000k lights. Now my factory lights where 5000k or 6000k. Would it beok if i put in the 10000k d2r bulbs? i like the color, but i dont want anything to happen to the ballast

Your ballast will be fine. Only big difference id say is the output. 10k is going to be really bad at night and you wont be able to see much on the road. Id personally recommend 6k and 8k at the most. 10k is just too much imo. I have 8k and im thinking of switching to 6k for better output.

Nothing is going to happend to your ballast, Every 35w HID Bulb is meant to be powered the Same, Just dont buy 55w Bulb they suck a little more constant voltage that the ballast isnt meant to give.

8K Is the Maximum trade-off between Output and Color dont go any higher cuz you will lose ALOT of output.

they are still 35 watt. nothing will happen other than your light output will suck. 10k is way to high. Nothing is better than 4300.

I had 5K lights for a while but they stopped working so I put my stock ones back in. light output is noticeably better with the stock 4300 bulbs but I did like the look of the 5k better. IMO higher than 5k just looks dumb
