Honda Oddysey (01-04) 130A Alt is a Bolt-On upgrade for the TL...

And you probably need a Big3 More than a New Alt... I have well over 1K RMS with stock 120A TL-S Alt with no Dimming and No silly Caps.

With true 2K RMS not even 130A will do... You need a rewinded Alt and get a second Battery.
800-900RMS is good for the TL-P 110A
1K RMS is good for the TL-S 120A
1.2 maybe 1.3K can be done with 130A...

2K??? 200A Min and a Single battery could die in 45min or less of continous draw.
You will need 2 Batterys if your planning on using 2K with the car shut-off

I believe the 97 to 01 have less Amp Output... The Alt will BOLT ON but there is no point if it has less Amperage...

The 01 to 04 should have the 130A Alt Unit.

The Yellow Top is OK! But with that much Power you should give Kinetic a Go.. Much better bang for the buck.

i was actually thinking about that but than i was reading reviews on them and saw that they didnt honor warranty well, alot of complaints about how the company would ask what batt they were using and if it was more than the car needed they wouldn't honor it which is stupid that like getting a yellow top for a reg car and than saying well u violated warranty u need to put speakers or something big in ur car -__- so i went with a second optima just havent wired it yet wanna put the other alternator on first since i don wanna burn the stock alt

You can get a 200a Alt for about $325 shipped from tenneyalts.com
The 180a was $275 iirc. There are alot of other custom alt companies out there as well. I've had a hard time finding a good direct bolt on with more than 200a output for the TL.
They'll be more reliable and should put out more power at idle than a stock rewind.

That sounds good I actually dished out 400 on a high output alternated year and a half ago only to roll my car over 5 times -__- so I don wanna spend that much on the alternator just yet again
