Hey, can someone give me the code for all the lighting inside the car?

- 2 Side Doors
- Map Lights
- Dome
- Shift Gate Light

Is that all?
should I change the license plate light blue aswell?

How would I find the right bulb? and where can I buy it in-stores?
and what would the price be total?

Please give me the model or brand name or whatever I can re-search on google,

Go to autozone..they can you give you all the numbers you need...The best bulbs are going to be OEM...I've tried several LED's...they dont last at all...

But i just ended up going to autozone to get them..I don't like any special colors..so i just got clear.

 

i switched the dome lights and courtesy lights to blue in my TL, i just bought panel LED board with blue lights off ebay. Working great so far

 

I got these ones of amazon and they worked great and were bright.


I had the blue ones on my car but switched them to white because I couldn't read crap while trying to drive at night so I switched to white.


they were much brighter in person than they are in the photos

 

Go with white. Its easier on the eyes and i think it looks better personally. but ebay amazon have them.

do you still have the bulbs? HAHA.. I wanted to buy it off you.. but is there any way I can buy them in store cause I have no credit card and I can't use my moms unless I buy a pre-paid but I prefer in-store I doubt their actually is one though.

 

I originally had them everywhere except license plate since you cant have blue outside the vehicle here. I still have them but shipping to you would be more than they are worth, unfortunately. if you already have the dome lights you just need that 8 pack of bulbs and your good to go. if you can find them in a store you will get ripped off they are like 10$ for two bulbs here I have LEDs everywhere now including license plate since I switched to white though

I have to say you a good guy, most guys here just troll and don't want to help me.. appreciate it man..Respect you a lot.. I'm in Toronto, Canada.. My dome lights aren't that bright sad to say.. but the 168 is the 2 doors, maplights, trunk, is the 8 bulb one correct me if im wrong Do you know what kind of store or do I just go to a mechanic haha, or some type of bulb store.. I'm sure they have them at the chinese imported fleamarket, and do you know what kind of bulb I need for my shift gate light? I think it died out.. I can't see a thing at night.

 

I think there were two different bulb sizes 168 and 194 but they are really the same. i think they had some at some of my local shops around town like autozone or discount auto parts. don't get any bulbs that are painted they fade and where off easy plus they are not the right color like red is pink and blue is aqua. just check on amazon or local stores. if you check amazon just type in "168 led bulbs" in the search box. I have had mine in the car for 6 months and they are still bright and none have gone out.

 

you really shouldn't change the plate bulb to blue unless you want to get pulled over....white or stock...anything else and your just asking for it

- Trunk/Cargo
- Map Light

and 158
- side doors?

correct? or will 168 work for the 2 side doors? -_-
and yeah I might get a clear for the license plate only.

 

you just have to grab them and pull them out then stick the new one in there. they are all rally the same size bulb at least from what I could see. just get the 168 bulbs and they will fit everywhere except the dome.

 

A little off topic but do you know what bulb the shift gate thing is? underneath the PRNDL? and do you know how to fix the trunk button? It won't release open.. I have to use the key remote.

make sure the lock/kill switch is off...its in the glove box on the left side

 

Inside the glove box there is a switch I it is on you can't use the trunk release on the door try that first. I'll check and see if there is any on eBay when I get a chance

 

Not sure what bulb the shift gate is or how to replace it when mine is off I just tap it and it comes back on

Those are a really good deal. It's cheaper than I payed for 10 bulbs plus it will give you some spares in case they burn out. Those are the same exact ones I used and I like them a lot. Also when you get them sometimes when you put them in they don't work, you have to pull them out and spin it 180 degrees. You have to do that because only one side is positive

yeah the 168 and 158 are the same!
well I had extra 2 bucks and bought one off some china thing, their are 10, but this is just for like a test I'm ordering a more expensive one or make a bright white if I get tired of the blue

about the trunk, the switch doesn't work
is there like a wire or fuse or somethin?

 

Not sure check fuse panels they are all labeled other than not you might have to make another thread where someone can answer your question better

 

Hey Stephen I ordered a cheap pair of them, but they don't look bright maybe cause they're not LED bulbs lol.. I'm going to buy some just now.. or I'll take your link and buy those ones.. cause I put the CHEAP bulbs in the car and like it doesn't seem as bright as yours.. but super bright white will probably brighter no? :P

 

The white are clearer than the blue. But mine are brighter than the original ones in the car were. I actually but them in both my dads alteucks and my brothers as well. I'm guessing the super bright white would be brighter but I don't want them any brighter than they are now
