intake question

hi, i put a short ram intake on my 2003 TL type s and i started it up and i heard a loud hum, its a weird noise but i cant figure it out has any-1 else had that problem? please help me!!!!

the hum is normal with the engine and no intake resonators. Thats what part of the stock intake resonators does is get rid of the hum.

ok so now if i put a cold air intake in it will not do that?

some are worse than others...I had it when I had the AEM V2 on my '99TL and that is the only reason why I got rid of it
