Question Icebox Cold Air Intake

So I was looking under c o m p t e c h u s a d o t c o m and I found the icebox cold air intake for my 2003 acura 3.2TL (non type-S) I wanted to know what you guys think about this item. It looks like when you get between 5k and 7k rpms that there is a small gain of about 10-15 hp. Is this true? Also, will I get a little better gas mileage from installing this item? I just want to know if you guys think this item is worth spending $280 on. Let me know what you think.

Silence is Golden

Thanks for your input, I appreciate it. Yeah I will go with the icebox CAI because I just installed two Infinity perfect tens in my trunk. ( I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!) I used to like loud exhausts, but now I'd rather hear my sound system over the sound of my car. Thanks man.

I talked to one of the guys at CompTech today about the intake because I am thinking about doing it as well, and he says it is very slightly louder, but nowhere close to the volume of a short tube.
