Detailing the car

Hey guys i was just taking a look at my paint, and i have all these little hairline scratches, and little road rocks, and chips from people who don't know how to open their car door with out hitting another person's car (especially when its mine). I was wondering if anyone here knows the best product for this job, i have never really experimented with any detailing products before. Also if there are any techniques that can help this process have a more desired outcome that would be nice to know as well . Also, my head lights seem to have a little bit of film on them as well, and im sure there is something i can do other than sanding them with fine sand paper, some type of compound for plastics or something like that.

Check out the wash and wax section, you will find a wealth of info. Also, pictures are a huge help as Patrick and the group have a lot of experience and information to share.

I am pretty fond of Zaino Bros products. They leave an incredible shine on the car, no wax, and its fun to watch how the water reacts to it when you have to drive in the rain.
