My ballast broke and I need a new one. But since I'm buying a new one I wanted to know if I can upgrade to another HID kit? Is there any better? This guy is selling installed HID kits is this a good deal?

That looks like a pretty decent deal. Comes with a 2 year no hassle warranty. I bought a kit off ebay for $60 shipped with a 14 month no hassle warranty.

But if I didnt want to go through that guy what kind of kits would I search for? whats better than our HIDS? Is our HIDS worth a new $160 ballast?

 

you can get some retrofitted. Me and a friend may open up a business since circuit city is closing now so we dont have nothing to do. We already retrofitted some in his van. Im doing mine soon probably Honda S2000 or 08 TL projectors

 

please explain retro fitted? sorry I am a noob when it comes to my TL. Also would I search for a retrofitted kit on ebay?

 

it headlights that are from other cars example 04-08 TL's have projectors you can make them and fit them in to your TL. Check out Volly a member on here he has retrofitted headlights and i doubt you will find projector lenses for our TL's on ebay

i think the next thing after HID is projector lenses

 

If I bought a new HID Kit from ebay I would have to mod something to install the ballast and the bulb? Or will the bulb fit into the headlight kind of the same?

 

wait your just trying to get HID headlight? You know that you can just buy the HID bulb and throw it in since are car has xenon already.

 

O wait you need the balast. Yea i would just pay that 160 or check the vendor im not sure how much he the hid kits for

ebay kits are garabage i bought those 60 bucks for my foglights nuttin but trouble i ended up going into the bronx to a spot and got them for 100$ for my foglights working perfect with no promblem. Just a question which ballast broke are you talking about the headlight ballast
