Hey Guys, New to the Website

Yeah, I'm new to this website and I was hoping for some advice. First, bear with me, I'm 16 and my first car is a 2000 Acura TL. I LOVE this car, it's great, but I was hoping to make it a bit cooler. I'm just a kid with a bunch of dreams for this car (bodykit, spoiler, hella performance parts) but I dont have a job and am kinda short on money. I know I'm spoiled for getting such a nice car, but I want to pay for all the accesories myself. The first thing I want to buy are some vinyls becasue they are relativley inexpensive.

I was thinking this for the hood:
http://www.decaldriveway.com/Product...ductNum=hoo101

And These for the sides:
http://www.decaldriveway.com/Product...ductNum=bod016

The car is silver and I wanted to get them in dark blue, so do you guys think this would be cool or just stupid?

Thanks

My . Decals are a . Especially with these kinds of cars. I think you should do the cheap or free and easy mods. The mods such as debadging the rear emblems, and customizing the front grill, or adding new exhaust tips make your car look nice and clean. Look around the forum to get some ideas of what to do to your car. Most important, save up for some mods because modding this car is not cheap.

You will regret putting decals on your car. Your paint will be a different color when you pull them off and there is no reason to put a decal on a car unless you have a sponsored race car and are doing advertising. Basically putting decals on your car is :ghey:

Save up and do some real modding. Engine, suspension, brakes

Thumbs down What? Decals?

^^ to all of dem guys. Take a look at the photo gallery. No decals in here, at least from what I have seen. TL's are too classy. The flames will be turned on big time if you do.

Agree with the others. Leave teh decals off and spend the money on mods.

Thanks guys, now i know what not to do. But anyways, what are some cool mods I could do for cheap? I've got about $250 right now, so I dunno, performance, exterior, interior, whatever.

Umm, $250 will get you a nice tint job with some left over for grill inserts. Just a thought.

That is about enough for a CAI (cold air intake). Comptech is going out of business so I doubt if you will find one with them, but maybe. Just check around.
