Header Comparison

I have searched the forums, and found that the consensus is that the DC headers or the XS are the better buy $$ wise, but the CompTechs are still top dog. What I have not seen is some sort of comparison that outlines the different pros/cons for each one.

Brand
Comptech
Pros: excellent craftsmanship, high quality materials, good product support
Cons: really expensive

DC Sport
Pros: reasonable price, good quality
Cons: ?

XS
Pros: really inexpensive, possible direct knock-off of CompTech
Cons: cheap?, Unknown Brand, Cheap parts (gaskets/bolts), Post-sale support? (issues/returns?)

I think you pretty much summed it up. The XS are just so cheap you could just buy a new pair even if they busted, Although if mine do for some reason fail I will probably get the DC. Can't really plunk down 1k for the comptechs even though I would love to.

I pretty much believe that you get what you pay for, so the XS just have me a bit squeamish. I don't really have access to a garage where I could work on my car every day, so I need to find something that is going to work from the word go and not need any maintenance.

I saw a set of used CompTechs around somewhere, I will have to see about getting those...

I say xs because if they break you could buy another set but quality wise I say get some used Comptechs if you want no problems and don't wanna spend 1k

i would say DC because they are not too cheap, but still affordable, basically in between the best and the worst

i put dc sport on before i finished the rest of my exhaust and felt a noticable difference just from them, which i think says a lot. my only con to them is that i didnt get any hardware sent with it, but i might have just been unlucky
