Hawk Pads! What a difference!

So I had hawk HPS pads and brembo blanks installed and what a world of difference those pads make. I bedded them in as soon as I got them done and immediately noticed a much firmer pedal feel and quicker stopping action. A mod well worth it. I was going to go with slotted rototrs but needed the money for other things, but overall just the pads on the brembo blank rotors has made an improvement. Maybe next brake job I'll put on some legend calipers though.

slap them Legend calipers on it and have a real stopping machine!
They are only 75 dollars each for rebuilts- same as regualr TL calipers

The hawks get better with age as do the rotors

For Gen2 TL/CL with stock or Legend 2 piston caliper- RacingBrake makes its own in house design pads now. Made to work really well on their brand of rotors- they work great on anything.
I replaced my HPS with RB series ET300 and was very happy with the improvement in grip and reduced dust.
Heeltoe carries both brands

Hmm I may have to pair the RB pads with my rotors. Legend 2 piston calipers and SS lines will do pretty well.
