AcuraJ32A, no flames here, but if you do a search you'll see this has been discussed alot. the short version is that the electric supercharger is a scam. would be nice if it was legit, but it's not.
cai and headers. those should be what your sites are on.

You'll only ever see a dyno gain from those things. If you search long enough on google and youtube, you'll find a guy that built one from home. He had to stack 8 batteries in his car to see a negligible gain. You'll be heavier than you started, and blah blah blah. *Beats dead horse*
The technology is growing, and while it's a great concept, that's all it is. Wait another 15 years and see if companies are still producing them, and if their methods and quality have gotten better than a vacuum motor.

it was found several years ago that the e-ram electric supercharger was actually *impeding* the flow of air into the car and choking it. i can't remember the numbers but it was something along the lines of the car needing 700 cubic feet/min of air at a certain RPM, but the e-ram could only supply air at 3 or 400, therefore it was a restriction.
good idea, but just can't be done. car and driver had a nice article about 4 years ago on electric superchargers, giving creedence to the concept but also acknowledging that it would probably not be implemented until cars moved up to a 24 or 48V DC power system.
**edit** i tried abbreviating cubic feet per minute and abbreviation was automatically deleted by the posting software. anyone know why????
