Did you try doing any searches or reading other threads about this very topic? No, others are no good. Get UR.

Yes, I did search and I read other posts, however, my question was "if someone installed a different pulley other than UR", not if there are other good pulleys.

Thanks anyway.

Yes, others have installed other pulleys. I know, I've read the threads.

Just a handful of members have installed non-UR pulleys from ebay or something. They claim to have no problems. However, the consensus is that it's not worth taking the chance on such a pivotal part.

Many times the other companies don't balance them properly or they aren't machined correctly. The UR pulleys are also CNC machined and they come off the CNC’s 0 gram balanced, better than the factory pulleys they replace.

That is something i wouldn't waste buying something different. AEM would be the only brand i would even think about but they dont make any HP on our cars. I would stick with the UR brand. You will at least know your motor will be safe and make HP with the UR brand. I wouldnt risk the chance of motor damage with a cheap E Bay brand

But what are the dyno numbers on it? UR is proven

i never dynoed mine , it feels stronger the instructions were taken off URs instructions same belt sizez and everything so it just seems like these smaller companies are copying UR and selling at a lower price in hope to undercut them. my car runs great feels stronger with the pulley and no problems after a year so personally even if the UR gives a few more HP im happy saving the extra money

Amazing that someone would want to go cheap on a crank pulley, given the problems it could cost if it's made wrong, not balanced, etc.
