Got my Wings West KIT and Vogtland Springs PICS! (56k BEWARE)
Just got my Wings West Kit on Sunday. It came in NBP or some type of black. Got it for 300. I've already started to strip the paint off a third of a side skirt and man, let me tell you it is HARD sh**. Well not necessarily hard, but very time consuming.
Enough yapping, here's a quick shot of the whole kit.
I will post more pics up later.

haha nah, I don't have any sorry. Too much work to take out the side skirts, drill holes, bolt them in, drill holes on rear, bolt them in and what not. Only the front clamped on pretty well, so I was like what the heck.
Plan on getting them painted sometime soon, will post pics after drop and with the kit installed soon. Stay tuned!

I saw them(vogtland springs) online for about 170, and I heard alot of good things about them, so I bought them on a wince.. I've already installed them.. they look good, but too low for my taste.
SO.. (here comes the flaming) I decided I wanted H & R sport springs because they look good and doesn't make my car look slammed and to compliment the springs I got a set of Tokico Illumina shocks along with new factory top hats to switch out for a brand new strut suspension system.
Also I found a shop that would prep and paint my WW kit for only 300! I'm so excited.. now I just have to find time to get them painted and install both the new shocks/springs along with my kit at the same time.
and yeah, I'd really like the mod to change my name.. but how? lol
Will keep you guys updated.

They ride pretty good actually, but one thing is there is a squeak on the driver side.. I really don't know what it is, but I think I didn't line up the spring right with the top hat.. but it gets annoying after a while or the spring is just new..
Funny thing is it goes away some times, but for the most part it squeaks alot. But I don't really care much for it because I'm going to install new springs/shocks/top hats.. I think that should really take care of the squeaking.
Oh yeah, here are some pics with the vogtland springs on. And yes, I am going to remove my pin stripes for those of you who are about to jump on me for it =).
They look really crappy because they were just quick shots. I forgot to take a shot of the front, which IMO looks AMAZING with a drop.

haha thanks. No I didn't trim the tabs yet even though it rubs when I turn completely towards the left. But because it might not rub when I switch them out for H &R springs/illumina shocks/new top hats I'm not trimming anything.. I will trim the tab though if they rub.
Whats the strut barings btw? The bolts that hold the strut to the shocks?

lol now I'm really confused, did you mean the rubber stop on the shocks? If not what is a bumper stop? o.O sorry, this might sound a bit stupid haha.
Oh yeah also guys, I just dropped off my lip kit to be painted. Down time is a week until next Wednesday. But it's all good, thats about when I receive my springs/shocks and can't wait!!

No I didn't have to cut them, which is pretty easy on me. I'm going to put them up for sale if anyone is interested.. just give me a PM.
Anyways.. yeah they do look nice, but they're just TOO low for me.. .25 of an inch makes a BIG difference on the streets that I drive on and the driveways that I see each day lol.
BTW guys.. quick question.. do I have to cut bumper stops on H & R springs? I'm mating them with tokico illuminas, and yes this is just another stupid noob question of mine.

okay guys, due to hurricane IKE I didn't have time to install my new shocks/springs/top hats and lip kit (painted!!). Although, here are some teaser pics I took.
Everything together excluding the lip kit:
My H & R Sport Springs 1.75 Front and 1.5 Rear:
My top hats from HeelToeAutomotive:
My Tokico Illumina Shocks:
Sorry, I got my SD card for my camera and my last part came (top hats) and I got picture happy.
To my surprise, I got everything with the top hats; washers, little rubber pieces that go between top hats/shock/washer, rubber spring seats, and even though my delivery was late due some problems about missing parts, Marcus at Heeltoeautomotive took his time to call me and assure me everything is coming and gave me great service. I HIGHLY recommend it if you guys are thinking about buying top hats, rather than piecing it together, just buy the set like I did.
Anyways, I forgot to take pics of the lip kit painted, but I'm going to install them anyways tomorrow and paint my calipers red, remove my pin stripes, and wash the baby xD. I'll take LOTS of pics tomorrow and post them up to keep you guys updated. Sorry for the teaser pics tho xD

2 inches all around on the vogtland springs, they're not that used.. only about 250 miles on all four. Oh, and mods if you can let me edit that one pic with my address on it.. I didn't realize haha thanks tegkid. Or if you guys(mods) can blur it out for me it'd be a hell lot easier on me (i don't have a program for that)

Okay guys.. here are some teaser pics till I get her washed and striped of her pin stripes.. I decided to let a shop do my springs/shocks/top hats (friend of mine) since I couldn't get to the tools and installed the lipkit my self, its off a bit but it'll do until I have more time on my hands to adjust them to perfection.
