Question gasoline addatives!!

Newbie to acura. Picked up my 2005 ABP M6 w/Navi this week. What a car!!! I see commercials for fuel addatives to keep "the engine running" smoothly and to eliminate *gunk* build up.

Any real value to this for Acura?

ummmm no...but sweet car BTW. modern fuels have additives already in them. Now it wont hurt to do every once in a while, but you dont have to worry about it.

if you do use some (I do every 15k miles or so). this is by far the best

gumout complete fuel system cleaner is the best IMO. BG44K some mechanics I have talked to and some reviews I have read state BG44K is not all it's cracked up to be and the cheaper gumout product is better. I use it excluysively and love the results, but on a new car I wouldn't use it, it would just be a waste of money.

I've been using Cheveron Techron for the past 10 years. If I haven't done it in a while, it seems to help. Some of my older cars, there were times where it was a noticeable difference. I've only noticed it once with the Acura.
