Question G35 Exhaust?

Hi,
First post! And this might be a stupid question! I have a 2002 TL Type S, and I love the sound of the g35 coupe's exhaust. I found a 2004 Infiniti G35 Coupe Cat Back Dual Exhaust System for sale and wanted to know if there would be any way that it could be installed on the TL?
Thanks.

Really? What would I have to do for it to sound like the 35? I know NOTHING when it comes to things like this.

The G35 engine itself (with the proper exhaust) is what makes that unique sound - its in an article somewhere.

the closest you can get to the G35 sound IMO is the mid muffler removal. but why would you want to sound like a G35? theyre more common than a Honda Accord around my area.

Mid muff and the resonator being replaced with an aftermarket makes it very close on my 02 s with an intake.

i dont understand why people think you will sound like a certain car by installing that model specific exhaust on it? exhaust are all basically the same: resonator, couple flanges, mufflers, and some piping. why would that make your car sound like what your shooting for? you want to sound like a g35 you better do a VQ37 swap lol

sorry i get the "if i install a STi exhaust on my carmary will i get the subaru boxer rumble?"questions all the time on the subie forum its became a pet peeve lol

in all honesty the stock exhaust with the mid muffler (apple juice can looking thing) removed sounds as close as your going to get to a g35

Ehhh... You crazy kids and your trying to sound like a g35 or g37. Why don't you do something constructive and make an exhaust that sounds like a caterpillar 3208, or a harley? I'm working on a system that'll sound just like a harley..... or really like three harleys cause we've got 6cylinders. It's made of cast iron, pretty heavy, really loud and completely chrome plated everywhere it sticks out. I've just got a few details to work out.
