fuel pump

Ok, if I want to take the fuel pump/filter out of the tank do I have to de-pressurize the system before disconnecting the fuel lines? If so, how do I do it?

Why do you want to take them out?

You can do it a few ways but t shouldnt be necessary.

Truth is that I always run my car on dead E, I have 125,000 mile on it. Im asuming the filter needs to be replaced/cleaned?

I do too and mine is running strong with 305,000 miles.

305,000?!!! Holyshit. Wait, im really not that surprised, i mean it is a honda. But I dont want to know how many trannies you've been through. But does anybody know if i do have to un-pressurize it? And if so, how?

5 transmissions. (6 if you count the 6-speed manual)
