My stock Bose headunit is giving me the CD Error and its not the first time. I've taken it to the dealer multiple times and it keeps coming back. Now i was planning on getting a new headunit preferably a double din. Any recommendations? Thanks.

 

hey i have a clarion double din for sale or trade.model is clarion max675vd u can see it on clarions site i don't have a pic of it right now but i will be posting one in the next few days.

 

i would say go with jvc exad kd-nx5000. bang for the buck CHAMP in my opinion. I have it and would not trade for anything except maybe a $ 2000 car stereo. Its not a double din but this thing is badass!!! I have 60 albums copied to its hard disk right now, and you can listen to music and use gps nav at the same time!

yeah but i mean thats kinda too small and wouldnt it look kinda small if i replaced the radio with it?

 

I have an alpine w205 in my 02 tl and it I like it a lot. And now, someone on this forum says that metra has a double din kit for our dashes. I paid Car Toys $200 to make me a custom dash.

Then i thought about using a dremel to cut off that middle section. Would that be possible to fit a double din in?
