- effect of installing lights upside down?
When I installed my bulbs the direction said to placed the little bar(wire?) facing down on the bulb. on the drivers side I didnt cause I was having a hard time fitting it back in and lost my train of thought. What are the negitive effects from this?

The headlight low beam I replaced them with 8000k bulbs. Forgot to mention that, but do you know what I'm talking about. If your looking at the bulb there is the glass portion of it and there is some element looking thing that comes off of it. It looks like a peice of hard wire that is insulated. I guess that peice has to be faced down and after I installed it (which was a SOB) I forgot to align it and I was just wondering what are the down falls of of not facing them down. Thats all
