What do you guys think of EBC brakes rotors? I bought a pair of front 11.8 rotos with he gold holes and silver slots. Also got the red brake high performance pads that were recommended. Let me hear your views please.

Yeah, EBC sucks. I got the Green stuff pads..they grab good but are loud and dusty as hell. I hear the EBC rotors are noisy and suck. Sorry.

It is interesting that you bought them already and now asking for opinions LMAO! Hope they work out for ya. I'm going with RacingBrake front and rears (when they get em) and satisfied ceramic pro pads or OEM pads. Never had bad experience with stock pads.

I saw other views where ppl rated them pretty good so it`s all left to be seen. I`ll see if I like em.

What kind of noise is it? A grinding noise or scraping noise?

colored holes and slots lol
although I have thought about painting the slots black to match everything else

Those coatings are zinc based- dont get me started on the damage it does to the Earth

Dimpled rotors tend to generate more noise when braking due to the brake pads sweeping across all those dimples.

The new EBC rotors and red stuff brake pads work perfect. No noise like what you guys were talkign about. It looks god and stop much better than factory equipemnt. I feel kool now. Haha. You guys were wrong and you should check them out again. It hasn`t been broken in as yet so I`m nto sure once they break in if that would change anythign but they are perfect. Had them installed lastnight.

Owned EBC for MANY years and never had any noise issues from the pads, and they dont dust any more than stock once broken in. Slotted and dimpled rotors do tend to make noise, its not just ebc

Kris, as you know we've been down this road before...on my car, they dust more and it's very obvious to me. With my 19s and my stock 17s, the brake dust was significantly more. At first I thought it may be my 19 inch wheel lips catching more dust, perhaps the heavier weight of the wheels was making the brakes work harder creating more dust, but with my stocks, same problem. I'm wearing down the EBCs and going to get new slotted rotors with satisfied pads or perhaps even OEM since I never had issues with them.

I would admit that they give off a bit more brake dust but I leave it in a while longer to see what happens. also, I am getting a little squeak. I`m thinking thye just have to break in. They do feel really good however. I feel like I have brembos.lol.
