Comptech is still the best, but it is the most expensive.

DC Sports Headers Had some Problems before. I heard the Most Hp gains were from XS headers cause they were the comptech style. Any dyno with this thing on??

Looks good. Maybe performs good.

Still can't beat the $100 XS headers that have almost the same gains as the Comptechs IMO.

Definitely an improvement in weld quality and a bit on the design. They've definitely got the flange seal going on'. The flat gasket is now combined with crush donut washers. I'm sure that'll help to prevent any type of leaks that may develop along the flanges.
Still one thing they haven't addressed though, and that is the nuts and bolts. Even thought they're now in the proper size, what about the bolt strength? They all need to be a grade 8 or class 10.9 and must be black in color to indicate that they've been heat treated to withstand extreme temperatures.

resonance

I got these about a month ago and cant stand them. I like the added power but I cant stand the resonance, that sound drives me crazy. Im thinking of taking them off and putting my stock headers back on. I dont know, let me now if you get resonance also. I would love to keep them on if I only knew how to get rid of the sound.

It would be so nice if Comptech had reasonable prices. I know the quality is great with Comptech but I don't think it needs to be that expensive.

I wouldn't put DC headers on my car. With past experience on previous cars, and friends cars they just don't stand up. Plus the above poster already stated the resonance is annoying. I don't want my luxury car to sound like a Civic.

I have the stock mufflers and pipes also it makes a buzzing sound (it's hard to explain so I'll keep it at buzzing) just when you start driving at the low rpm's and when the car shifts from 1st to 2nd. At first I didnt noticed it but my wife heard it and shes the one that pointed it out to me. If I have my radio on then I cant hear it to much also if I go WOT then all I can hear is the VTEC. It's up to you if you can live with the sound. Im still up in the air if I want to take that and my CAI off because of the sound, but thats a different story.
