Dented Downpipe.?

Dented Downpipe.?

fucking shit.
just switched out to comptech headers.. was installing my sway bar at a shop and i noticed i dented the downpipe. not that bad just, its a lil flat...
i heard dents in an airflow can rob a lot of HP, are my headers pretty useless now? anyway to bang it out? i just bought em......................

I doubt its really that big of a deal. Mine are like that also and the shop said its not worth worrying about it unless I really mod the hell out of my car. You could probably take them off and take the downpipe to a good welder and he may be able to grind that part off and make a new patch to get rid of the flat part. I just dont have time to mess with it now.

that sucks!!! I honestly think you will loose some HP is the dent is decent sized. is there an resonance now?
