I picked up some thin wall PCV pipe and fittings at Lowes for under $20 and fashioned a Ram Air intake for my sons 03 CLP. No fog lights on his car just an open rectangle on the bumper feeding cold air to a cone filter just inside the opening. He has headers and a type S manifold and throttle body(IMRC window switch to be installed this weekend).

I ran him with my 01 CLS from 30 mph and had him by only a car at 90 (private 2 lane road no traffic). My Type S runs very strong and I was shocked he could keep up. Granted his CLP has headers and he used the Sport Shift but I used to take his car by 2 to 3 cars easy. I am contemplating yanking out the fog lights and putting in the same setup. My concern is how the ram air setup will affect low end...

I have a G tech accelerometer and will run before and after quarter and 30-80 times and advise....
