curious

So I'm looking for an exhaust for my tl-s, and I've looked at many but my question is, is it possible to get an exhaust that has that somewhat of a raspy tone like a g35 or a 350z ??

Yes, just delete the Mid Muffler and Muffler Resonator.

Yup! If you dont want the raspy yet somewhat close to the G35 tone dont Remove the Resonator!
If you want raspiness then Remove it.

Aftermarket Cat-Backs doesnt come close to the tones of the G35 or 350z... They sound a Shit Ton Better for the $$$!
ATLP being the BEST by Popular Choice....

well of course, but I.dont really have that much money to get cat backs or an axelback plus I mean having that sound for now wouldn't hurt til I got enough money for atlp which I heard is pretty satisfing but what are your thoughts on getting that raspy tone for our car?

I did try it out (Im Actually Mid Muffler less, Saving for Cat-Back) and removed the Resonator it sounds like a Civic to be Honest, It draws out the "Luxury" from the car. I do not recommend removing the Resonator...

Just remove the Mid-Muffler you wont regret it! and its reversible anyway! It gets louder but without raspiness and has a little deeper tone, Like a G35.

try removing the mid muffler first it is usually no more than 50$ at a shop and its easy. then you could try removing the resonator after also. I was going to delete my mid muffler but I found a guy locally that has a comptech b pipe that I am trying to get to make my exhaust a full catback.

The mid muffler delete one seems like its deeper than the mid muffler and resonater but its not as raspy sounding, at the shop if I ask to remove the resonater will they charge more? And is it possible to put it back on afterwards ??

Yeah they will charge more to delete the resonator. You should be able to put it back on but then your paying labor twice for nothing.

Trust everyone when we say do the mid muffler delete only. We are telling you from experience. To remove the resonator make it raspy crap sound. W mid muffler off its just right.

i removed both on my TL-P and never had any rasp. If you have a header it will cause it.

If your planning on doing headers only do the mid muffler delete. I suggest headers for performance I just put mine on and what a difference it made

With the mid muffler delete, would it only sound like that on the tl-s? Or would I get the same sound as that video from my 2001 tl?

That I wouldn't know,
The only down side tjat I've notice for just the mid muffler delete is you only hear it up to like 3000 rpms after that the engine is louder then the raspiness
