cooling mod

I received my mugen fan switch and thermostat in today. I did a search and some say its fine and some say it takes the heat to long to warm up. What are the up and downs of this mod?

trying to get my car to run a little cooler. I also have the outlaw thermoblok eng. kit. I'm trying to get the motor to run cooler before I buy this supercharger next month.

why does it run hotter than normal now? Maybe do this mod After the SC and you see your running warmer (if you do)

They give the cooling system a head start. Tstat is open at 68°C instead of 76°C , fan switch is on 80°C instead of the stock 93°C. Before 68°C, engine warms up just like stock. I have a hard time believing 68°C is not enough for heating. Is this a placebo effect when someone install a "cooling" mod so he "expects" the heater to work slowly?

It shouldn't take longer to heat up. The temp difference is only effected at the peak end.
