i actually started looking into this a few months ago for fitting an AV6 S/C on the type-s when no one could give me the answers. i have a small list of differences on my home computer. maybe i'll get to post them later. the ones i can remember off the top of my head though are:

* different fan shroud configuration
* separate throttle setup for the VSS, which the AV6 doesn't come with.

i'll have to check when i get home.
