i have a buddy of mine who may be able to hook me up with a comptech supercharger for my tl. that being said, i read up on their website a while back and saw that they had that transmission cooling kit for it. with our trannies being the way they are, would it be possible to run it without that kit. or is it just asking for trouble? one way or another if i get that SC then the kits going to follow, but i just wanted to know if its ok to run it for a short period of time (maybe a week, two at most), and then install that kit. or just get both and do it all at once?

 

First comptech has to reopen- they shut down while the workers bought out the company and are restructuring and will re-open soon- hopefully

When someone knows for fact they are open- like speaking to a human and ordering a part that arrives within a week----- please post!!

 

you can buy a trans cooler from any parts store and install it far cheaper than teh comptech unit. I wouldnt worry about not having it on

 

even with the great triple digit weather we've been getting in my part of cali? sounds good to me.

so basically what 01tl4tl is saying is that although the comptech site looks like all is well, you cant order anything because of the whole restructuring and whatnot. or if ur able to, you wont be recieving it anytime soon...
