so why do you have to keep creating a new thread about information that you previously asked???

seriously.. no need to keep recreating threads about the same topic. to make the answer short.. the best two are injen and aem. if you're talking about quality + performance, i'd go with injen. (had mine for awhile no issues with broken bracket mount) cus aem tends to have that problem.

but it's really all the same.. and serves the same purpose. if they made a v2 for tl-s.. i'd get that instead of the injen rd cai i bought.

yup the bracket broke on mine leave a hole in the intake, good thing the bracket was near the bottom just so my dryflow filter covers it.

maybe you can have a shop cut it to make it fit with VSA? put a step up adapter to attach to the throttle body?

ouch, dont you have a V2 intake? i tore off the rubber mounting hardware for the aem short ram 1/2 of my intake, i left that off. i have an extension pipe down into the fender and an aftermarket mounting bracket tied into a nearby bolt. thankfully i didnt rip a hole in my intake, i won't blame aem totally, our crappy motor mounts are to blame as well.

yeah I got the V2, i never got the rubber hardware so I just bolted metal to metal hence the breakage.

yeah i pieced together my CAI and i didnt bother to bolt it in anywhere = no broken brackets no rattles either!

go ebay or go broke.

unless you have a TL-P in which case go for a V2. imo if its not radically different than any other intake its not worth it, and the V2 is definitely different. but again, thats my opinion.

Yea i have tl-p, btw wheres the best site to buy from? and i got a story about my filter? So my dad is cheap and he hates bringing the car to the shop for a check up and stuff/ oil change ( hes lazy). So he takes it to some guy that his friend told him about... so this guy told my dad that something is wrong with the K&N filt he put in and he put in some white one and took the K&N. I was thinking that he took the k&N for himself? any thoughts?

^ say goodbye to the K&N.

as for best place to buy, didnt you say you already bought the V2? why create a thread after the fact? couldve combined all questions (even if they are different) into one thread before you went ahead and bought it.
