AEM intakes...

Alright i know ive been bothering u guys with the CAI questions.... but in the processs of buying, i called up the store i was going to buy from, he said that he had the AEM intake i was looking for but then he was like, well for $30 more i can get a dual chamber intake, and i was like oooooh more air for $30? not bad, but i just wanted to make sure if its the right choice or not?

dual chamber intake.. he's talking about the aem v2 cai. imo, yes it's worth it. my friend has it on his accord and the site claims an increase of 16-18hp?

basically the dual chambers are for low end and high end torque. traditional cai are mainly aimed at high end torque. too bad they don't make the v2 for the 02-03 tl-s'

^It will fit the 2000. V2's are for all tlp's. NON TYPE S that is!

lol $30 for more air huh? i paid $30 for my entire CAI.

but if you want name brand go for the V2. it looks sick. wish they had em for the Type S.

dykyy is correct. aem v2's are only made for the 99-03 TL-P's. a shame they didn't make it for the type-s. it's not that hard to make one for tl-s is it? -_- .. just a different piping to start off with since our throttle body is considerably larger than the tl-p's but they already have their dual chamber technology figured out!
