Block Heater - Does the '02 TL type S come with it?

Maybe a silly question, I just bought a '02 TL type S and live in the second coldest capital city (aside from Moscow) Ottawa and am sure I will need a block heat. Does this car have it? If not, anyone out there have one installed? Cost?

Thanks...

p.s. awesome forum!

get an old blanket and pop the hood and put the blanket on top of the engine. Get a work light, drop light whatever and put it under the hood at night. That is all you need.

No the Tl doesnt come with it. As for price, you may want to call around a few shops in your area and ask for price and install. they are going to vary from place to place.
I havent needed one yet on mine and it has seen -15to-20F and started just fine

I was in Ottawa for a couple of days last January and it the weather was crazy. If you are going to experience anymore of those -50C days I would definately get a block heater. The car does not come with it but im sure you can get one installed at crappy tire and it shouldnt cost very much.
