Okay since I cant find a ballast for a reasonable price, does anyone know if I can just bypass or remove the ballast all together and just use some good quality regular bulbs? The connector that goes into the ballast looks like it would just connect to a regular bulb. I know it wont look as nice but will it work?

 

I doubt that it wil, but then you'll have the issues of your lights being unsealed and fogging up or get water in them
