alright, so i've been thinking about this and trying to gather as much information as possible but i'd still like everyone's opinions...

I'm going to get an axleback exhaust since I want sound and looks as oppposed to performance. The HKS super drager seems is a unique choice and is supposed to be pretty deep and loud. The Tsudo axleback costs about $250 less but I don't know too much about it. I'm looking for something pretty loud, and I can't imagine that exhaust drone would be too annoying to me.

What's everyone thinking? Just looking for your

 

Good quesiton.. what I always wanted to know is, aside from looks and partial sound, was there really any performance benefit from just getting a axle back?

If you just want loud why don't you just remove the resonator?

 

Theres NO benefit performance wise for any axleback. Its simply cosmetic. Theres a thread already going on the main 2g section on the Tsudo. I have them and love them. If you take the mid muffler out they'll be loud enough for most people. If you check out that thread you'll get a ton more info and some clips.

Not sure what the HKS's are like. I know quite a few ppl have them so I'm assuming their good. Havnt heard anything bad.

 

yeah you won't get gains from an axleback with stock headers, downpipe, cat, b-pipe/y-pipe... so you want to make your car just loud without any gains? o_o'

 

@TequiLa: pretty much. performance doesn't really matter to me anymore since the TL is more of a luxury car with a hint of sport in my mind

People say removing the mid muffler reminds them of a g35 type tone.

tay, u need to go to the meets, u will see lots of exhaust set up and hear them in person.

I am also thinking about going over to Tsudo axleback I already deleted my mid muffler and resonator I really wanna know what that would sound like!!!

 

you would be amazed on how fast the drone will get to you in these cars.
