If you have a color that was offered for the 03 CL/CLS you can just buy the body colored door handles and swap them out.

I'm glad you are keeping it LGM, my old TL was LGM, it's an awesome and rare color! Are you ever going to get the OEM kit?

i painted the door handles on my old car, from chrome to a really dark gray, almost black. it was on a dark green maxima, tinted tails, custom black headlights, 20% windows.... i miss that car. but i love my new tl
sort of a rant... but my point was that its not too hard to paint them if you got the right paint and equipment

Does anybody know if it's possible to get the handles re-done in a black chrome color? I love the way it looks.

Are gold-colored handles purchasable anywhere? I'm planning on replacing all of the chrome accessories with golden ones (grill/trim/emblems/etc).

I have the same problem from the flaps. Hate it. So I keep my flaps on even though I don't like em. Maybe I should paint them body color after the winter though.

fsttyms1, where are you going to get your paint and body work done? I messed up my skirt and a door so far this winter and wanted to get them redone.

That is by far the ugliest thing one could do to our cars, in my opinion... Let me guess, you car is black?

Easy, just spray them with the Nite-Shades or similar stuff they use on tinting tail lights. (or any black kandy coat for that matter)

You really should get the handles painted or black chromed since they get a lot of use, any spray will come off over time.

IMO, only on black color cars, matching door handles will look stealth. Other than that, I don't think it would. Maybe, but I will yet to see pictures. Chrome doesn't bother me, at least I know the paint wont chip from all that usage.
