There's a procedure to follow to reset the light. I don't have a link handy or I would post it but you can probl. search & find it. If it comes back on after that there's a problem that needs to be addressed. As I understand it your airbags will not work until the problem is rectified. No software required to do this.

There isn't any dealer software, its simply a scantool. They aren't exactly cheap either

Might be the SRS recall problem, and I doubt you're still covered.

Its in the DIY page

There really isnt soft ware for the TL like that. Scan tools wont see SRS stuff. Go to the DIY page and the SRS reset procedure is in there. If you reset it and it comes back on bring it to the dealer, there is a part that they cover recall/extended warranty that is known to go out. With that light on your airbags dont work.

where your trip select and reset button are...turn the key to the accessory position and then hold those 2 buttons for 15 seconds then start your car..it should go off..

That will NOT reset the SRS light. That will however adjust your outside temp reading.

Not done the way he posted it wont. The buttons have to be pushed first, THEN turn the key.

there is no such thing. there is chip programming, but there is no way you can touch that, unless you are a professional and have $500,000+
equipment

a friend of mine goes to a mechanics school, hes taking those classes and has full access to everything
in a few months
im getting my car tweaked

limiter off? maybe?
haha

make friends with people who go to auto mechanical schools!

they get full access to almost everything

even, DYNOS!
