so im planning on picking up a motor for 400 but ima try to talk to the guy and see if i can get it for 300. im gonna take the wiring harness and ima try to get the ecu to. what else would i need i know ima have to get the tranny too. is there a way i can use the 4 speed tranny and my stock ecu?. what else would i need?

whats the black box and where is it so i know to take it. but i remember the gauge is not really compatable with the tl-p models?

 

i got a 2001 tl and i just did the type s swap i used my same wire harness for the type s motor and it works good im just useing a msd 8969 window swich for the imrc. you need everything that phee listed.

 

the black box is behind the drivers side kick panel. either on the left or right side. cant rmember.


guages work with the tl-p, only thing thats off is the temp sensor. if u are good with yoru hands you can remove the needle and adjust it

 

can you show me what the box looks like and what does that box hook up to?

 

i guess the guy sold the tranny already. would i be able to use my 99 tranny?
