Greetings fellas, I just picked up a used 99 TL-P and was wondering where I can get upgraded tail lights from? I believe it is the 01+ tails.

I saw some non oem ones on ebay, but how is the fitment on those? Is there a cheaper place to get them from? Are the non oem ones on ebay any good? Thanks in advance.

 

you could go on ebay and get some aftermarket depo ones but i dunno what the difference is??? shouldn't be too different.

 

and yes it's the 02-03 year, the turn signals are white instead of amber

 

OEM is usually the best way to go. I have heard minor modifications will be required when installing DEPO lights. Good luck.

 

I got the Depo ones from eBay in my '99.

They fit right in with no problems.

 

Cool. Thats what I wanted to know. Is ebay the cheapest place to get them? I looked around, but just wanted to make sure before I go and order them.

 

ebay, craigslist or junk yards will be the cheapest.

 

quick question.....what can u do if the tailight start condenstatin inside?

 

^ I was going to open them up the same method used to black out headlights and do a custom tailight.

I helped my friend do his on the EVO and it turned out well. Maybe that's an idea?

 

i guess the only logical thing you can do is to pry/heatgun (whichever works for you) them open and reseal it tightly.

 

yes.. ebay would be the cheapest place to get them at.. as for which seller.. i'd recommend this since it seems like they don't sell them as a pair..
