Red-line is Around 7K but car has rev limiter at like 5800? Is there a way to remove this?

 

^are you in neutral? or park?

 

It does it anytime even when im driving. it will just bounce on 5800 if i dont shift. if i let it stay on there and just keep hitting it it will like shut my motor down and the traction control light comes on and i can only go to like 3500 rpm until i restart the car

not sure if you guys have an APP sensor(acceleration pedal position)??
dirty EGR valve?

 

Okay i thought so. but my car wasnt throwing any codes or anything for it. Where is the vtec solenoid located? I cleaned my EGR valve like a month ago so i know its not that its done this the entire time i owned the car... i thought it was normal till i started reading up on it

 

hook up an OBDII reader to be sure that you're not throwing any codes.
your car isnt running right

 

I did and it doesnt give me any codes. The car runs amazing otherwise still get around 28mpg and everything
