Hi everyone, I'm new to the site and am currently upgrading my 2003 Tl with a total sound redo. I've already replaced the head unit with a pioneer AVH-X5800BHS dvd, added a backup camera, Bluetooth mic and replaced the rear door speakers with 5.25 kicker cs5's. I just wanted to share my experience with firewall access as I am about to install an amp. Hopefully this will save someone a ton of time. I found a great access site right about 6-10 inches above the gas pedal a little to the right. It pokes through to the engine compartment kind of high but more towards the drivers side mid compartment. Hopefully these pics will help.

I need to feed 2 gauge through it as I will be running 1600+watts rms and 2 gauge through this hole is a little tight but works. It is perfect however, for 4 gauge and smaller. If you have any questions regarding the above install so far, I would be more than happy to try and help.

Did the 5 1/4 speakers fit the white housing from stock speakers? I got 6.5 speakers since every website says something different for what size 2G TL's have and they don't fit the white housing.
