2.5" Straight Pipe to Glasspack!

If anyone is considering on straight piping their TL I say do it! I need to get a better mic but the car sounds like a 350z (VQ) Does not sound like a Honda

Note this is on my old wheel setup!

are you talking about replacing the resonators with one or the mufflers?

Ive seen your tl on ig before.. I feel sorry for your fenders at tour attempt of being "stanced/hellaflush" on steelies.

Sounds similar to just a straight pipe without the "glasspack" which is too damn loud and ricey for a daily driver.

LOL... going to have to agree with Skirmich here. I thought of the exact same thing when I saw the video, super raspy and sounds like a civic, And I can't believe you single piped your car.

Aren't glass packs really only meant to replace resonators?

I have no rear mufflers and my car sounds completely different, but mine is a type S... dunno if it makes a difference.

Trust me itll sound sweet when its all done but ive had to push the project back for awhile. Due to complications with the company im dealing with and local welders that meet my requirements and are in my price range.

Its just the j series makes a distinct sound thats perfect to me lol. 6 banger sound over 4 anyday.

Alright alright haha, honestly and not just trying to justify it but the video does make it sound more raspy than it really is, its not that high pitched. More of a have to hear it in person but its all up to interpretation so I get were you guys are coming from. and its 2.5" piping from the header all the way back to a glasspack on the very end. And again I KNOW about my fenders, they were already rusting from the car being left in a swap before I got it. They are getting fixed and I am getting new wheels so it wont be so bad for long. Odd or not Im trying to take this car in more of a Japan style, spent a lot of time within the culture and if I could have the first bozo styled TL I would but that shit doesn't really fly over here.
