I read in DIY that the TL-S cluster has to be modified for the '99 TL since the '99 TL doesnt have D5, some mods were done on the cluster as well. Is this going to be a problem for me as well? I mean having a '00 TL. Am I better off making LED conversion instead? I was reading the DIY but the answer about the '00 TL never came up. I found used 02-03 TL-S clusters for cheap and I would want to change it.... Help guys! I know Phee is making these for the '99 TL and if it all works out maybe I can use his services to complete my interior mod. All white LED lights. Chrome shifter and LED installed.

its plugs right in. Though the lighting wont be any different than what you have, you should still do a led conversion at that time.

would anything be affected? I mean the mileage? so basically its a plug n play type mod right? is the LED mod hard to do? is it basically soldering LEDs on the board replacing the old lights?

you milleage will be what ever is on the new cluster. yep follow Phee's DIY on the leds.

From what I've read, the airbag light comes up when you do the swap for no apparent reason. Is this true?
