yes the bumper you have too, look at the liitle half moon below the high beam

but you might even need the actual bumper and stuff depending on how it is actually attached, and yeah there are members on here that have done it, i think one of them has a red tl with a WW front lip on it, just can't think of his name

just get a spare set of headlights, before you start the work on swapping out all the parts for the front, work on the headlights to your liking...

imo, since your car is white, i'd just clear it.

I remember something about the frame having to be modified to fit the 02-03 bumper cover.

Didn't FiftyFive do this?

I think the bumper beam needed to be moved, and you have to modify the hood latch brace

I thought I've seen a write-up about someone doing this before, because I was wondering about doing it as well.

I think they said that it would just be easier and more cost effective to sell your current one and buy an 02-03. But you never know.

This would be a sweet cosmetic upgrade for the 99-01s, along with some 02-03 tails too.

Jterrorc; I bet your insurance would pay to have the new front put on if your front was bashed up, as long as you pay the difference in the cost of the parts, and can find someone to do it for you. We had an 06 rear end put on our 03 accord coupe after a wreck, but that was also an easier switch-out.

if you can get parts off a wrecked car then proably not too bad, but if you went all new, it would proably be kinda expensive

This has been done a few times.

There are 2 active members on here as well.

There is a member from NYC with a WDP that has done it and also a FPR from CT that has done it.

Sorry guys I can't remember your usernames ATM.

Here's a recent thread about it... https://acurazine.com/forums/2g-tl-performance-parts-modifications-116/blacking-out-headlights-754955/

I say we peer pressure someone into doing this and making a price list (with and without paint).

it wont fit. dont waste ur time and money unless ur going to go all the way.
02-03 has the grill on the bumper, 99-01 has it on the hood. thier is first big problem, and the grills are two diff sizes. headlights are completely diff design. hood latch is completely different.

u might need a new hood latch, but still think u can use the same cable. the bumper (not cover) is like $80 new. front bumper cover is $106, primered and taxed (body shop discount ftw) its not oem, its new aftermarket, still does the same job.
