0-60
0-60
Has anyone ever timed themselves 0-60 with a stop watch? I mean thats relatively easy and you cant be far off if you do it right. On my 99tl the best I got was a 6.5 and averaging in the high 6's most of the time. Thats with the mods I have. I/H/E
No, I've never done it with a stop watch. On my buddy's '88 325i there was a stop-watch function built in. I used to time him 0-60 that way. His car was still pulling 6 second times w/ 214K miles on it! He knew how to drive it well too.
**Edit** Not to say that this was the most accurate timing method...we were 16 at the time. He did race a modded Talon and won...couple other quick cars as well.

It is now in the low 70's high 60's here in Florida at night and my car is feeling a lot better and faster now that its cooler. My car felt a lot more responsive last night so I just thought I would do a couple 0-60 runs and my best was a 6.4 with an average of 6.6. I dont think I can get any better than that, but 6.4 for a 99 tl-p 4-speed auto is pretty good, compared to a stock 99 tl-p.
