Post Zymol vs. Zaino

I have tried both products and I see no difference in shine. But give more than satisfactory gloss and deep shine. Zymol is easier to put on and remove. Zaino have more options in what to apply and when. Which too me is not a good thing. What do you guys think Zymol or Zaino?

Wink

I haven't used either one. I used one that they don't sell in the estates. Is an import from germany. I love it, and won't change it for anything.

Talking re: Poll

Mother's!!

Seriously... it's a very similar process to Zaino (I think there's one less step) and it's a lot easier to put on and remove. I did the whole process (Claybar, sealer / glaze, carnuba wax) and my car looks incredible. Now I just wash it once a week and throw the carnuba on. I honestly don't think Zaino could do much better, plus I can buy Mother's at my autoparts store.....

I used Zaino last weekend and would definately recommend it. I don't know why some of you are saying it's hard to remove. I found it easier to remove than any wax i've used before. Just don't use it in humid weather and it dries in about an hour. Wipes off easy with a cotton towel. Also, a THIN layer is all that's needed.

Thumbs up only tried Zaino

I've only tried Zaino. Since neither product is readily available in Canada (I would have to drive over to the 'States to pick up Zymol), I decided upon trying Zaino (mail-order only). Zaino has been highly touted to be the best stuff around so I gave it a chance.

Let me tell you how impressed I am with the quality shine Zaino produces. So as long as you follow the instructions explicitly, expect only great results.

If cost is a concern, I am uncertain the price of Zymol. But I would guess that both products are comparable. (NOTE: Zaino has several choices in its line-up.) Zaino may have a higher sticker price, but the very small amount required-- one bottle will last you!

Hope that helps

I have never used Zaino but I have used Zymol.

I love Zymol but like any other wax-like products, they take forever to apply and it rains right after you are done.

I have used the Zymol's glass cleaner, pre-wax treatment(stripper), wax, and interior wipe. Matter of fact, I have Zymol towels... different grades for different purposes.

The pre-wax treatment, I love. This takes out everything on top of your clear coat so when you apply the wax, you are actually waxing the clear coat, not the residue on top. What you get after both treaments is a liquid like shine, even on a white car at night.

When I get my car back I will take a day to clean her up and apply both treatments, I will keep you posted on the result.

How to buy Zaino

You have to go through mail order. Go to their web site (zainobros) and print out an order form.
I used it on my silver TL-S about a month after I bought it. Wish I would have done it sooner as it makes the paint a little tougher.

I personally use Zymol and love it. I get it at my local auto parts store and it isn't that expensive. It leaves an awesome shine and cleans away everything (including the wash mit).

I've used just about everything on the market at one time or another, and was a bit hesitant to use Zaino because its twice the work to start off with - but now I'm a believer and will never go back to wax again.

Zaino is by far the easiest product to apply and remove, and the results are simply amazing. IMHO, much better than any wax or Zymol. I'm hooked!

Just ordered some Zaino through the mail. I can't wait to try it out. Many members of other forums highly recommend it. I currently use Zymol and like it. Hopefully the Zaino will be even better.

It's Zymol for me. It is the easiest car wax I have ever used. Almost 3 months on the Zymol and the car looks great and still shows no signs of needing another application. However, I hand wash my car and use a turtle wax car wash.

Zymol is great stuff, but it also suffers the same problem as other waxes - pain in the ass if it gets on the trim, takes effort to buff off.

Zaino means a two step process to start, but the stuff goes on and comes off ridiculously easy - and no problem if it gets on the trim or glass - that alone makes it the decision maker for me!

Zaino!

I've said it many times before.....Don't know what they put in the stuff but it's the best polish I ever used! BAR NONE

You see products hyped all the time on T.V. rarely do they meet your expectations.....ZAINO DOES without a doubt!!!

Try it and you'll be hooked too!!

Zymol and Zaino are both great, but the Zaino is just so much easier to put on and take off. Rememver - less is better with Zaino.

I had to work harder with Zymol on a black car.
