ABP = Agean Blue Pearl - that sexy, sexy blue thats on the newer TLs..... :worship:

SSM = Satin Silver Metallic - I had no clue what that meant until 4 monthes of being on this board.


I decided on zex because I've heard really good things on their products. I havn't heard too much on NOS. When the time comes, I'll do my full research before making a decision.

well I found a company that imports them to the UK, same like motorex in the US, but it is alot cheaper to make them legal in the UK. You still can't take the ones from the UK to the US, but I'm in germany, were I could bring the ones from the UK here.

Is very expensive to import them to the US.

I will be in germany for at least 3 years curtesy of the USAF. So I'm planning to no only own an R33 and R34 but sell then here too.

 

because the pre-99 TL's didn't have HIDS... only 99+. He's talking about a HID conversion kit, like I had on my I30 before I had my TL. its about $600-700 for a good one.

 

The conversions are cheaper nowadays..

Like $300-500

elongate the front doors, shave the rears, and move back the B pillar. making it a coupe.!!!! with NSX functional side vents.
this wud basically make it a CL, but a two door TL is much hotter.
then the basics: kit, comptech supercahrger, IHE, etc etc

 

BTW, i saw a Skylinhe today.... its my friends cousins. an R33 silver... from motorex, godadmn that **** was nice in person

Can you imagine if our cars were RWD...and the 6 speed from the CL was also available on the TL. I honestly don't understand why it wasn't. Those two things right there are significant. It's too awesome to imagine, it's why I almost went with an is300 (for the rwd, but it's a lesser car overall). My car is pretty close to my dream 2G TL. All I need is the DC headers and an icebox and I'm set, those are for next spring. I also wish I had the balls to roll my fenders, sell my wheels and re-buy them in the type-3 face, wider with a lower offset. God damn that would be money.

 

Because WE are not the demographic the TL was built for. If it weren't built on the Accord platform, there would be a hell of a lot less performance parts for us to use.
