Before I got my TL I used to run through the yellow lights so I wouldn't get caught at the red, I'd even run the reds occasionally. Now with my TL, I slow way down hoping that the light will turn yellow, then I stop and wait for it to turn red. I sit there and wait for an opponent to beat. When they come along, I toast them at the very hint of green..

I'm Sick.. Anyone else got this problem..

I do that....i love it at onramps!

 

I don't do it to race, I do it so I can spend an extra 30 seconds in my car.

Oh, with Nate's TL, its possible. It would be a damn shame if it weren't "flossed" every 5 seconds or so.

 

If the light's yellow on it's way to red and i'm coasting thru it, I tap the brake and gas at the same time(to show im trying to stop, while accelerating thru it), this way if I get pulled over, I have a better chance to get away with a "I tried to stop" story..

it doesn't sound like it's a good thing to do to a car.

 

I do the same thing if I go through yellow. Every time someone I know gets pulled over, the cop almost always says the same thing "you didn't even try to stop".

It's not bad for the car. You're only pressing on the brake hard enough that the light goes on, not hard enough where the brake actually engages. You can feel the difference.

Acura 3200 I guess you guys are just pressing enough to let the brake light go on. I was under the impression that ed was pressing hard on brake to make it look like he was stopping but not really.
