XM Cupholder mount install PICS!

I just finished my xm cup holder install. Everything went fairly smooth. I was even able to mount the antenna in the rear dash. I've been friving it around, and the signal bars stay at full

Considering that I am using the FM modulator, I guess the quality is ok. I am pleased with the programming though. For a city as big as dallas, the radio stations here blow and you get about 10 minutes of music per hour. I am really impressed with the reception. I really wasn't planning on mounting the antenna in the rear dash, I just wanted to test it before mounting on the roof. The signal showed as full regardless of were I was driving and even got 2 bars pulled completely into my garage(with garage door open). I put it on top pr a second, and noticed no quality difference, so I decided the rear deck would be fine. As far as the features, I think the SKYFI is almost the same as the SKIFY2 except for the FM modulation.

Nice install looks like no drinking in the TL for you though.

that looks great man.

I don't know if I could do without the cupholders though. Could you have put it in the sunglass holder or something?

the tl cupholders dont do jack shit anyways. If someone wants to drink in my car i make them hold them. They put them in the cupholders i punch them in the face. I try to keep my cupholder space occupied with my cell phone and drugs so no one can put shit there anyways.

Sounds good, thanks for the reply. The SkiFi2 has the 30 minute record feature and it also alerts you to your favorite songs, no matter what station you have it on. Plus, the stock tips and sports scores can scroll across from what I understand. I think I may pick one up and then Ebay my SkiFi 1. I don't want to pay add'l to put it in my other car. I have my antenna next to my 3rd brakelight as well, never an issue.
