OH MY GOD!!! I cant believe it! At 9ish this morning, a plane crashed into one of the world trade center buildings. I was up when this happened and they were showing a live picture of it when 18 minutes later BOOM! Another plane crashed right into it!. Right now, NYC is basically shut down. All bridges and tunnels are closed. They said no one is allowed into or out of the city. I just cant believe this happened!

 

I heard, sh!ts fu_k up...

 

I hope they find out who did this and many many many people die under our bombs......

 

Both buildings are now gone and I just cant believe it, Imagine the Manhattan skyline without the WTC buildings. I just cant. Retribution must and will be paid. My Heart and prayers go out to the family and friends of all those people who were still in that buliding when all this occured. A mindless, senseless and cowardly act that must be paid for.

 

A landmark has been destroyed. How can these ppl be so ruthless to disregard so many innocent lives. They will get what they deserve.

 

Why can't they keep their problems to themselves?

I will pray for everyone involved and urge others to do the same. My heart goes out to all the families involved. My sister is in the area now and I found out she is ok. No phones work, no subways. Only my Nextel radio. I know some people there today and I am sure this will be a day in US history that no one will ever forget. I hope that with all the other bombings in the US now and the other jets that have not been accounted for, this does not spark a war that will inevitably involve many nations. How do you defeat a group who thinks suicide is honorable. To think the people that killed so many others think they are dying with honor in Gods eyes is a sickining thought even for any religion.

 

There were many thousands of people in those building that collapsed... thousands of innocent people murdered for nothing. Sick.

I found it very disturbing to see all those Palestenians celebrating. So many innocent lives were lost due to this BS. The people responsible not only killed thousands of innocent people, but they inturn will end up killing thousands of their own cuz now the US (I hope) will retaliate and send a message that we do not tolerate this in our own backyard. I live close to the Pentagon and I heard 3 booms and I thought my door got kicked down. It startled the sh!t out of me and my wife. When will all this non sense end?

For all you religious people, please take time out and send a prayer to all the victim's families and donate blood if you can...this is about the only way we can help right now.

I am still in a state of SHOCK right now! The WTC have been a symbol of America's and the world's monetary might. It is such a part of NYC that to see that it's gone is unfathomable. I celebrated my one year anniversary with my wife there and it has a very special place in our lives. She called me and she was crying on the phone. I was devastated and I told her to be strong and that at least we have it on tape for our memories. I even went to a scenic overlook of the NYC skyline to record the images for my future kids to see and hope that they don't have to go through what I and all of us went through today. I have been recording throughout the day so I can keep all this for memories.

So far here are the numbers:
- close to 200 firemen have died
- close to 100 police officers have died
- there were close to 10,000 people in EACH TOWER at the beginning of the chaos (20,000 together) this morning
- there have been numerous civilian deaths throughout the day
- no definite # of dead and wounded will not be available for at least a few more days
- 266 total people died on those 4 planes that crashed (2 into WTC, 1 into Pentagon, and 1 in Pennsylvania)

My aunt was flying back to San Francisco today but I have no idea where her plane was diverted to. I really hope she is fine. And my sister lives in Arlington, VA where the Pentagon was also attacked. Luckily she called me and told me she was fine. All the damn cell phones were not working at all today due to the extremely high call volumes in the wake of this attack.

And to top everything off, the news shows Palestinians celebrating outside. I really hope they know what is coming to them soon. Those actions were inhumane. No matter what the cause was, civilian deaths is INTOLERABLE!

I guess I was also kind of lucky because it happened at the time when I normally would arrive to work. I take the PATH train and it stops at the WTC at the same time the first plane collided with the first tower. But luckily I am not working there anymore. But I do have a few fraternity brothers that work in the WTC and I pray to god that they got out safely.

The sad thing about all of this is the fact that 4 planes got hijacked at the same time. HOW IN THE HELL DID THIS HAPPENED??? I thought our airport security was pretty good but this is outrageous. America really needs to sit down after this and carefully rethink about our national security so that this **** won't ever happen again.

I really hope America bombs the **** out of Afghanistan and wipe it off the face of this planet. Only that a$$hole Osam bin Laden can mastermind something this clever. It must have took years to planned this out and it was carried out with extreme precision. I hope they find him and assassinate his coward a$$! In this extreme case, I believe an eye for an eye is just.

We might have lost this battle to the terrorists but we will WIN the war.

I am an American first before any political affiliation. This is not Bush's fault or Clinton's. The bombing that is. It may yet be seen as to whether Clinton could have prevented the current economic situation. As for the surplus goes. It's my hard earned money that was a result of over taxation in the first place. So give it back to me and let me decide where I want it to go.

i am in shock. i get back from class at like 9 turn on tv and that is what i see. WTF!!! i dont understand how the planes were even able to be crashed. i though the pentagon had its own defense. how the **** did they not pick up a ****in 767 headed straight for them??? its no ****in stealth. then on top of that how the **** do u hi jack a plane with 90+ ppl on it with knives?? even if there was 10 hijackers in the plane thats 9 ppl to attck each one. i would never sit back and let that **** happen. there must be more to the story. i dont see how 90+ ppl didnt come to the conclusion that they could easily take out 3-4 hijackers with knives. there is so much we dont know. i couldnt **** eat all day and everytime i tried to forget about what happened i just feel guilty. the sight of seeign ppl throw themselves out of the building some of them on fire is crazy. i m ****in sick to my stomach. and to top it all of on my way home from college to be with my family some ******* in a ****in ****ty t/a is on my ass trying to race me. so i hit 127 and let off and go in right lane and drop to 80. he was behind for some reason. anyways he gets next to me and floors it. lets out some nice smoke, stinks up the highway with his ****ty car. hemust of hit 140mph. i just laugh what a ****in moron he is so far ahead why not slow the **** down. then i see all this smoke. 2 PA troopers spin around and take off after him. so then like a 1/2 hr later he catches up and passes me doin like 90. not to mention there r troopers like every 5 miles cuz of what happened.
