I know this has been discussed before, but has anyone bought one of these ebay kits.. For around $150. I've seen sum TL's with some really nice wood dash kits like the one in the pic i attached (hopefully it attaches). They have kind of a reddish tint to it.

But the ones in the pictures on ebay look kinda orange. Maybe its just a pic, but i really want to put this on, i mean it looks great. The ebay ones might be okay, b/c the TL wood that comes with the car also looks orange, so maybe its just teh picture...

Can you guys post pics of your installed wood kits, and where u got them from...

I have it on mine.

I bought it on here, it matches great.

 

I bought oneof those dash kits on eBay from NYCdashes. The color is a bit too orange. I have heard that the Joshuatree.com kits have much better color match. They are slightly more expensive, but if i had it to do again, I would have paid more for a better color match. Since mine's already stuck on, I'm just leaving it for now. But one of these days i will probably remove it all and get something that has a better color match. (i have the tan burly wood interior btw)

i bought one of those dash kits of ebay for a honda accord... i bought the "brushed aluminum" kit which i must say, doesn't look a thing like real aluminum..... they have a real thick clear layer/glaze on it which, like u see in the pik u attached, maks it look kinda fat and thick..... i wouldn't buy a wood dash one for my TL off ebay, b/c i don't want it coming out the same with the thick clear layer on top and the fake look.....

hey, silverUA... I checked the accesories.. they only have the pieces that go around the airvent, and the piece that goes around the guages..
